Chad Earl Bratcher

 Chad Earl Bratcher, age 58, passed peacefully from this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

 Born on June 20, 1967, in Weatherford, Texas, Chad was the son of James and Alva Bratcher. He graduated from Harmony Baptist School and went on to build a career as a truck driver and in the electrical industry. Chad was hardworking and dependable, traits that were reflected in everything he did.

 Outside of work, Chad found joy in the outdoors and in creativity. He loved hunting and fishing, and he also had an appreciation for art. His stoic presence and unique passions left a lasting impression on those who loved him.

 Chad was preceded in death by his brother, Clint Bratcher; his aunt, Janice Smith; and his grandparents, J.W. “Dub” and Ruby Pearl Bratcher, and Melvin E. and Tallulah Smith.

 He is survived by his mother, Alva Bratcher of Weatherford, Texas; his father, James Bratcher and wife, Julie; brothers, Chuck Bratcher and wife, Sara, and Cody Bratcher; and eight beloved nieces: Katie, Addison, Haily, Summer, Brenley, Savannah, and Hannah.

  A graveside service will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at the Buckner Cemetery, 1400 Buckner Road, Lipan, Texas 76462. Chad’s life will be lovingly remembered, and he will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
