Catherine "Cat" Ann Hill

  Catherine Montgomery Hill, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 23, 1954, in Weatherford to Hesper and Carmen (Collins) Montgomery.  

  Catherine graduated from Weatherford High School, Class of 1972, a member of The Brock Bible Church and a dedicated fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, supporting them win or lose. She had a deep passion for flowers, plants, and gardening, truly finding joy in mowing her lawn. Her love for fishing was boundless, making it a significant part of her life. 

  Affectionately known as Cathy or Cat, she was a breast cancer survivor who inspired many and remained in close contact with her "pinks," her breast friends, offering support and encouragement to those on similar journeys.

  She was predeceased by her parents and her youngest sister, Deana Montgomery. 

  Catherine leaves behind her loving husband of 20 years, Tommy Fowler; her son, Kelly Davis of Norway; and her cherished pets, Thelma, Henry, and Shitty Kitty. She is also survived by her brother Alton Montgomery of Weatherford, sisters Beverly Connaway of Santo and Debbie Crain of Weatherford, as well as her bonus children Amie and David Simpson and Jason and Audrey Fowler all of Fort Worth. She was known as the "best make-believe grandmother ever" to their children: Taylor, Logan, Morgan, Asher, Levi, Miah Simpson, and Janey, Deuce, Spencer, Tommy Fowler.Her uncle, Jerry Hale of Palo Pinto, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, will deeply miss her presence. 

  Catherine’s love and gentle spirit have left an indelible mark, a lasting blessing cherished by all who knew her.

  The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Halo Hospice for their tender and loving care.

  A memorial service will be held at River's Edge at Tin Top in the near future.
