Carolyn Kaye Evans, 78, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. She was born November 29, 1945, in Baird, Texas to John Hammer and Lona (Stewart) Hammer. After high school, Carolyn became a paramedic, and then began working at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Luther; daughter, Gayla Clayton and husband, Joe; son, Ronald Evans and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Michael Owen and wife, Andrea, Peggy White and husband, Robert, Michael Clayton, Brian Evans and wife, Kylie, Ashley Evans, Curtis Evans and wife, Gabby, Ashley DeWitt, Tiffany LeLeaux and husband, Josh, and Elizabeth Ferguson.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, in Weatherford.
