Carl Lee Hoffman, age 72, of River Oaks, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015, at a Fort Worth hospital. He was born July 29, 1943 in Benoit, Texas. Carl loved to work; he worked as a young boy on his parents’ ranch starting his day several hours prior to sunrise until night fell, possibly later. He enjoyed reading Westerns. He loved his family very much and enjoyed sharing the wisdom he gathered from his life experiences.

Carl is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Deranda Picard of Millsap; grandchildren, Jessica Hadley and her husband, Ryan of Millsap and Lacee Taylor and her husband, Richard of Weatherford; great grandchild, Lylah (Annie) Taylor; his sister, Judy Gordon of Dallas; brothers, Dalton Hoffman and his wife, Ginny of Houston and Johnny Hoffman of Ballinger.
