Carl E. Barbee

  Carl E. Barbee, 54, of Horseshoe Bend, died on Friday, November 23, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. He fought a long battle with cancer until going home to be with the Lord. Carl was born in Pensacola, Florida, on March 10, 1953 to Charles and Carlie Barbee. He was a long time resident of Horseshoe Bend and a Translator for F.E.M.A. 

  Carl was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanne Barbee. 

  He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Debbie “Dall” Barbee; sons, Jeromee Kennedy and Jeffery Johnson; grandson, Ethan Breeze Johnson; sister, Sandra Barbee; mother-in-law, Betty “Mumsey” Moore; brother-in-law, Tony Kuhn; and five nieces and nephews, Ericka, Audrey, Taylor, Carlie, and Yquem. 

  Graveside service will be Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at Tin Top Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
