Brian Joseph Walker

March 25, 1964 — January 24, 2022

Brian J. Walker, 57, left this earth on Monday, January 24, 2022, due to COVID-19.

Brian was born on March 25, 1964, in Anaheim, California to Edward and Marie Walker. He grew up in Orange, California and moved to Texas in 2016. He embraced all things Texan!

In January 1991 Brian met April through a mutual friend. After a whirlwind romance they were married on August 24, 1991. They were married for 30 wonderful years. In August of 1999 they welcomed their only son, Wyatt.

Brian worked in the automotive industry to support his family, but what defined him was his love for his family and his country. Brian and April had many adventures traveling around the USA, with most recently driving east to Pensacola, Florida to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary/second honeymoon in October 2021. Brian loved being a father and was Wyatt's biggest supporter in anything Wyatt was involved in. Brian became an Assistant Scoutmaster and had the joy of seeing Wyatt become an Eagle Scout. Brian was especially proud to see Wyatt going to college and knowing Wyatt would be graduating this spring.

He was loving, sentimental, had a great sense of humor and was an American patriot to the core. Our hearts are broken, but we know we will see him again someday.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Edward Walker and Marie (Cahill) Walker. He is survived by his wife, April Walker; his son, Wyatt Walker; his sister, Janice Hemmingsen; his sister, Lynn (Kurt) Anderson; his brother, Mike (Janelle) Walker; his nieces, Tara Hemmingsen, Alyssa Anderson, Hannah Walker, Paige Walker and Coral Walker; his nephew, Brett Anderson.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated, and his final resting place will take place at the convenience of the family.

In honor of Brian and his love for our great country, please consider donating to the Lone Survivor Foundation or an organization of your choice that helps veterans and first responders.
