Brian Daniel Marinelli, 66, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Born March 9, 1957, in Burbank, California, he was one of eight children born to Robert and Marjorie Marinelli.
At age 22, Brian entered the United States Air Force where he proudly served for seven years and served his remaining time in the Reserves. In 1980, he met and married Dube Porter on July 3rd. Following his military career, he went to work for Lockheed Martin for 28 years, retiring in 2015. He proceeded to be a contractor for Lockheed in 2018. Brian enjoyed working on cars, loved his family, music, karaoke, and playing keno. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all those who knew him.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Marinelli, Jr.; sister-in-law, Sylvia Marinelli; nieces, Karen Turner and Tiffany Wilkerson; and nephew, Michael Turner.
Brian is survived by his wife, Dube Marinelli of Weatherford, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Daniel Haas; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Cassie Marinelli; five grandchildren, Nathan, Andrew, and Joseph Goddard, and Avien and Zayden Marinelli; siblings, Peggy Martin, Mark Marinelli, Sheila (Michael) Turner, Diane Marinelli, Cindy (Tim) Brayshaw, Wayne (Sandy) Marinelli; Skip (Kathy) Porter, Rebecca (Rocky) Campbell, Craig (Stephanie) Porter, Kelly (Jason) Fourr, Kelli (Derek) McCready and a collective thirty-nine nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. As we are unable to list everybody, please know you held a special place in his heart.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm St., Weatherford, Texas.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2024, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
A celebration of life will follow.
