Brenda Kay Sexton

 Brenda Kay Sexton, age 76, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, February 19, 2026, with family by her side. She was born on July 13, 1949, to Earl Guess and Ellen Eads Guess.

 Brenda dedicated many years of her life to her work in the retail industry. She began her career at Tandy Cabinets and later served as a convenience store manager for 10 years before retiring. Upon her retirement, Brenda lived with her niece and three great-nephews, Joshua, Jarrod, and Jackson Harle. She loved cooking for them - with her specialty being grilled cheese - and was affectionately known as “BIG B” by them and all their friends.

 Brenda was the youngest of 12 children and was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. Brenda is survived by her sister, Letricia Bridges of Stephenville; her nieces, LaCari Hill and husband, Mike; Doris Osborne and husband, Doug; Zaneta Hicks and husband, Steven; and Patsy Pastor and husband, Mike; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many other loving relatives.

 Brenda was not known as a social butterfly, but it was clear she loved her people. There were countless cards and photos from her family hung proudly in her room at the nursing home where she lived the past few years.

 No services are scheduled at this time. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
