Bradley Shearer

  Bradley James Shearer, 50, left this earthly life on June 19, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas. Born on January 14, 1975, Brad brought joy and a steadfast spirit to all who knew him.

  Brad's greatest earthly love was his wife, Heather Garrett Shearer, with whom he celebrated 15 years of marriage. His faith was central to his life; he found immense comfort and guidance in studying the Bible and was a long-time, active member of North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford. A true fan through and through, Brad was always ready to cheer on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading James Patterson books.

  He is survived by his wife, Heather; his siblings, Jamie and Brian Foreman of Buckeye, Arizona, Pam and Ruben Ortega of Dumas, Texas, and Jordan and Kelli Shearer of Slapout, Oklahoma; and his stepmother, Mary Anne Shearer of Follett, Texas. Also mourning his loss are his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and Wayne Garrett, and his brother-in-law, Brandon Garrett and his wife, Audra of Weatherford, Texas. Brad will be profoundly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

  Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Louise Ronan; his father, James Pate Shearer; and his grandparents, Claude and Rheba Shearer, and Barbara Applegate and Leon Ronan.
