Bonnie Inez Thompson

  Bonnie Inez Thompson, 88, of Weatherford, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011.  Inez was born April 29, 1923, in Parker County, to Betty Mae and James Arthur Laymance.  She was a lifelong resident of Parker County.

  Inez and her late husband, Horace operated a dairy and several service stations in Weatherford. They were charter members of Hilltop Baptist Church. She maintained a lifetime membership in the church. Mrs. Thompson was a nurse’s aide at Oak Lane Nursing Home and Weatherford Health Care.

  Survivors include her children, Linda Johnson and husband, Mike, James Thompson and wife, Pamela, and Wayne Thompson and wife, Ann; six grandchildren, Scott Johnson and wife, Becky, Bryan Johnson and wife, Mindy, Jamie Gentsch and husband, Brad, Jennifer Eddlemon and husband, Bryan, Misty Havens and husband, Henry, and Jason Thompson and wife, Amy; and fifteen great grandchildren.

    A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, at East Greenwood Cemetery.
