Bobby Jones

  Bobby Jones, age 82, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1942, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Wilson and Malvin (Roberts) Jones. Bobby dedicated 40 years of his life to Tandy Corporation, where he built a fulfilling career before enjoying his retirement.

  A man of active spirit, Bobby had a passion for roller skating, which he cherished as a beloved pastime. He is lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

  Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Dennis and Jimmy Jones.

  He is survived by his son, Tracy Jones of Childress, Texas; granddaughter, Callie Jones; sister, Billie Owens of Cleghorn, Iowa; and three nieces: Karen Harnsberger, Debbie Cargin, and Martha Bailey.

  A graveside service to celebrate Bobby's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Turner Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas.
