Bobby Jan Grimes, 71, a retired supervisor, died Monday, January 1, 2007, at home in Weatherford. Mr. Grimes was born January 22, 1935, in Perrin, Texas, to Marvin Elmo and Exa Mae Ragle Grimes. He was a resident of Weatherford since 1977 and attended the First United Methodist Church.
Graveside service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, in Perrin Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Survivors: wife, Gayle; daughter, Jill Smith and husband, Tom of Arlington; sons, David Sewell of Weatherford and Kelly Sewell and wife, Melissa of Tomball; sisters, Mary Beggerley of Baycliff and Ina Jo Lee of Perrin; brother, Elmo Grimes of Clovis, New Mexico; five grandchildren, Jamey Bolerjack, Zachary Sandovall, Kris, Devin and Nathan Sewell; three great grandchildren, Katy, Gage and Riley Bolerjack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Weatherford.
