Bobbie Morrel Robinson

  Bobbie Morrel Robinson, 84, of Weatherford, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 2, 2011. She was born October 2, 1927, to Robert Reese and Gladys Mae “Billie” Orr Morrel, in Mertens, Texas.  

  Mrs. Robinson was a retired school teacher. She had earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from North Texas University in Denton and a Master in Education from East Texas University in Commerce. Bobbie married Billy Glenn Robinson and moved to Weatherford in 1953. They were members of The First Baptist Church. Mrs. Robinson was a member of TEA “Texas Education Agency,” Beta Signa Phi, Country Crossroads Extension and Education Club and Women and Neo Club. 

  She was preceded in death by her parents.

  Survivors: daughter, Vicki Robinson and husband, Robert E of Cocoa, Florida; sons, Robert Glenn Robinson and wife, Judy of Justin, Texas andChris Robinson and wife, Karen of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Reed Robinson, Katherine Robinson, Rebecca Robinson, Reese Robinson, Jennifer Gist, Sarah Walker, and Shane Robinson; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Gist, James Walker, and Tosh Robinson.
 
  Funeral service will be on Thursday, October 5, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment at Milford cemetery in Milford, Texas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
