  Bobbie Jean Carter, 73, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at her home. Born May 23, 1933, in Parker County, to Robert and Delia Parker; she married Coy Paul Carter on June 23, 1950. 

  Bobbie was an author and a homemaker, she was a member of South Main Church of Christ, Pythian Sisters, Women’s Cattle Raisers Association and the Paint Horse Association. Bobbie loved her family and supported her husband in all endeavors and devoted her life caring for her horses. 

  Survivors: husband of 56 years, Coy Carter; daughter, Paula Dalene Robertson and husband, Mike; sons, Acey Bob Carter and wife, Karen, David Carter and wife, Maxine, all of Weatherford; grandchildren, Tonya, Jimmy Bob, Brent, Sabrina, Kandi, Scott, Wayne, Missy, Cody, and Brandi; and great grandchildren, Stephanie, Darren, Dustin, Sheyenne, Tony, Skyler, Blayne, Braydon, Emma, Rowdy, Kyle, Kody, Kristin, Emerson, and Anna. 

  Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2007, in the South Main Church of Christ. Interment in Tin Top Cemetery. 

  Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
