Bishop Kenneth Dean Laird

 Bishop Kenneth Dean Laird, age 79, passed from this life to his eternal reward on November 15, 2025. Kenneth was born to George and Juanita Laird on November 18, 1946, in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from C. F. Brewer High School in June of 1965. Kenneth married the love of his life, Anne, on October 8, 1965. Together they raised five children.

 Kenneth was called to pastoral ministry in 1970 with the Church of God of Cleveland, Tennessee. He took his first pastorate in a new field work at Jacksboro, Texas. He enjoyed 54 years of ministry and pastored ten churches over these years, including two new field works.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Juanita Laird; his brother, Arnold Laird; and sister, Audrey Laird Brown.

 Kenneth is survived by his wife, Anne, of 60 years; children, Kristine (Russell), Roger (Lisa), Angelina, Laura (Tim), and Bobby (Jenny); eleven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

  The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas. Later that day, burial will take place at Tyson Cemetery in Pilot Point, Texas.

 Pastor Laird’s impactful ministry and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
