Billie Jo Atkins

Billie Jo Atkins, 86, of Springtown passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. She was born March 20, 1931 to Lee and Nellie Brawley Hill. Billie was born and lived most her life in Parker County. She was a member of North Side Baptist Church. Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Atkins, and sister Wanda Blair.
Survivors include her son Larry Atkins and wife Linda; granddaughter, Angela Atkins; sister, Barbara Stigall; brother Bob Hill and wife Reba; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 2 at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation is one hour prior, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
