Bill Duncan

  Billy Carlton Duncan, 85, of Weatherford, passed away March 14, 2017. He was born January 26, 1932 in Haskell County to William and Valli Vincent Duncan. Bill was a member of North Main Church of Christ. He was proud to serve his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. 

  Bill was a fun spirited prankster who loved to share stories and remanence of days gone by. He especially loved sharing stories of his adventures when he was Parker County Constable in the early 1980’s. He worked from the age of 10 picking cotton until he retired at 80 from Mader Bagley. Many will remember Bill for his love of life, being full of energy, and his giving heart.

  Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Jean Duncan; daughter, Patti Waggoner; son, Carl and wife, Brandi Duncan; grandchildren, Cody and wife, Lindsey Duncan, Tyler Duncan, Trace and wife, Emily Duncan, Mandi and husband, Luke Gage, and Matt Mahoney; and several great-grandchildren.
