Beverly Sue Williams

Beverly Sue Williams, 74, passed from this life on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Beverly was born December 3, 1949, in Weatherford, Texas to the late Oscar Williams and Mattie (Roden) Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Williams, and their son, Ronnie Williams. 

Beverly is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Tammy and Larry Wyler; daughter, Sheila Whitt; daughter, Pamela Traywick; and numerous grandchildren. Additional survivors include her sister, Jean Haynie of Fort Worth; sister & husband, Doris and Ken Norris of Aledo; brother & wife, Jerry and Cindy Williams of Millsap; brother, George May of Weatherford; brother-in-law, John Moore; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly worked for the United States Post Office as a mail carrier. She enjoyed shooting pool, gambling, playing bingo, and dancing the Texas Two-Step. Beverly will be remembered for her lively spirit and her love for her family and friends.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023, with visitation beginning two hours prior to the service, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. 

The service will be officiated by Mateo Rendon, and serving as pallbearers are Larry Wyler, Hank Whitt, James Hoadley, Brandon Maughan, Donald Williams, and honorary pallbearer, Charlie Wyler. Burial will follow at the Lemley Cemetery, in Weatherford, Texas.
