Betty Jean McMurry, age 81, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 in a Weatherford Nursing Center. Betty was born July 19, 1929, in Brownwood, Texas, to Roy and Ella White. She was a graduate of Trinity University, an Elementary School Teacher, a homemaker and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Midland.
Her husband, Melville Bond McMurry precedes her in death.
Survivors: children, Malinda B. McMurry, Melanie B. McMurry and Mark B. McMurry; sister, Mary Bacon; and two grandchildren.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment in Annetta Cemetery. Visitation 12 noon to 2:00 p.m., Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
