Betty JoLaine Haile of Weatherford, Texas passed from this life on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the age of 90.
Betty Jo was born on January 7, 1935 to Otto "Joe" and Hattie Krueger in Hamilton, Texas. She was baptized and later confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aleman where the family faithfully attended services. Many happy days were spent on the family farm with brother Dennis, sister Patsy and close cousin Bobby. Betty's schooling began at St. Paul's school and concluded at Hamilton High School, where she graduated in 1952.
Betty began her banking career at Hamilton National Bank, where she met the love of her life, C.H. Haile. Betty and C.H. were united in marriage at St. Paul's Lutheran on August 25, 1956.
After a move to Fort Worth, Betty continued her banking career at South Forth Worth State Bank, where she retired in 1998 as Senior Vice President Cashier of Central Bank and Trust.
Betty and C.H. were joined by their beloved daughter Sharon on May 28, 1966 and the family was complete with the arrival of their son, Bradley on May 20, 1967.
Betty's later years were full as her life as a grandmother meant so much to her. Many loving years doting on Justin, Colton, Brylee, and Bryndon brought her immense joy.
Betty was preceded in death by her wonderful husband C.H. Her loving parents Hattie and Joe Krueger, her brother Dennis Krueger, and niece Denette Gilmore. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Wiley and her husband John, son Bradley Haile and his wife Suroya, sister Patsy Melde and her husband Mark, brother and sister in law Jack and Joan Haile, sisters in law Lillian Haile and Bernadene Krueger along with close cousin Barbara Feldman; grandchildren, Justin Wiley (Jessica), Colton Wiley (Ryan) Brylee Miller (Tandy), and Bryndon Haile. Great-grandchildren, Tate, Cutler, Carter, Brazos, and Jolee Wiley, a host of nieces and nephews, family and close friends who became family.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. And a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
