Belén Landin

 Maria Belén Landin passed from this life on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at the age of 67. Belén was born January 30, 1959 in Juventino Rosas, Guanajuato, to Gregorio Delgado and Raquel (López) Ortega. 

 She was the heart of her home - a gentle, steady presence whose love was felt in the smallest, most meaningful ways. Whether tending to her garden, preparing a meal for those she cherished, or sitting with her sisters over lunch and laughter, Belén created spaces where people felt welcomed, comforted, and deeply loved. 

 She found joy in life’s simple pleasures - beautiful flowers in bloom, a carefully chosen purse, thrifting for treasures, or the quiet rhythm of knitting and crochet in her hands. Her life was a reflection of devotion: to her husband of 50 years, to her children and grandchildren, and to the family bonds she held so close. 

 Belén’s legacy is one of warmth, care, and unwavering love. The lessons she taught through her kindness, her strength, and her nurturing spirit will live on in the lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to blossom in her family for generations to come.

 Belén was preceded in death by her brother, Darío Ortega. 

 Belén is survived by her husband, Santiago Landin of Weatherford, Texas; children, Norma Landin, Roy Landin, and Lorena Aguilera and husband, Carlos; grandchildren, Juan Carlos Aguilera, Abbi Aguilera, and Yadhira Aguilera; siblings, Ofelia Delgado, Angélica Delgado, María Delgado, Soledad Delgado, Cirilo Delgado, Ángel Ortega, and Alma Sánchez.

 Family, friends, and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, March 26, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Both gatherings will be held at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, located at 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas. 

 Belén will be laid to rest in East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas. Her memory will remain cherished by her family and community.

 María Belén Landin partió de esta vida el domingo 22 de marzo de 2026, a la edad de 67 años. Belén nació el 30 de enero de 1959 en Juventino Rosas, Gto hija de Gregorio Delgado y Raquel (López) Ortega.

 Fue el corazón de su hogar: una presencia dulce y constante, cuyo amor se sentía en los gestos más pequeños pero más significativos. Ya fuera cuidando su jardín, preparando una comida para quienes amaba, o compartiendo momentos con sus hermanas entre risas y conversaciones, Belén creaba espacios donde todos se sentían bienvenidos, reconfortados y profundamente amados.

 Encontraba alegría en los placeres sencillos de la vida: las flores hermosas en plena floración, un bolso elegido con esmero, buscar tesoros en tiendas de segunda mano, o el ritmo tranquilo de tejer y hacer crochet con sus manos. Su vida fue un reflejo de devoción: hacia su esposo de 50 años, hacia sus hijos y nietos, y hacia los lazos familiares que siempre valoró profundamente.

 El legado de Belén es uno de calidez, cuidado y amor inquebrantable. Las lecciones que enseñó a través de su bondad, su fortaleza y su espíritu generoso vivirán en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Aunque será profundamente extrañada, el amor que dio con tanta generosidad seguirá floreciendo en su familia por generaciones.

 A Belén le precedió en la muerte su hermano, Darío Ortega.

 A Belén le sobreviven su esposo, Santiago Landin de Weatherford, Texas; sus hijos, Norma Landin, Roy Landin, y Lorena Aguilera y su esposo, Carlos; sus nietos, Juan Carlos Aguilera, Abbi Aguilera, y Yadhira Aguilera; y sus hermanos, Ofelia Delgado, Angélica Delgado, María Delgado, Soledad Delgado, Cirilo Delgado, Ángel Ortega, y Alma Sánchez.

 Familiares, amigos y seres queridos están invitados a presentar sus respetos durante la velación el miércoles 25 de marzo de 2026, de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo al día siguiente, jueves 26 de marzo de 2026, a la 1:00 p.m. Ambos servicios se realizarán en Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, ubicada en 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas.

 Belén será sepultada en el cementerio East Greenwood en Weatherford, Texas. Su memoria permanecerá por siempre en el corazón de su familia y de su comunidad.
