Beatrice Yvonne Bailey

  Beatrice Y. Bailey “Granny Bea”, age 92, of Millsap, Texas, passed peacefully from this life to join her loving husband of 70 years and her heavenly father on November 21, 2017. Beatrice was born on August 5, 1925, in Baker Community, Weatherford, Texas. She married the love of her life, Bob Bailey, November 22, 1947. She was a lifetime member of the Millsap Garden Club. She was a member of the Millsap Church Of Christ. Granny Bea retired after 20 years at the Millsap ISD Cafeteria.

  Beatrice is survived by son, David and Theresa; son, Wayne and Maria; daughter, Judy Carter; sister, Marguerite Walker; 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; family, Alma and Lanham Ford, Harvey and Karen Bailey, Emily Bailey, Betty Bailey, and a host of extended family and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Bailey; parents, S.E. and Ethel Dugan; brother, Sid Dugan; sister, Fay Berry; brother, R. L. Dugan; brother, Dan Dugan; and sister, Geneva Standsberry.

  She will always be remembered for her kind generosity and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed.

  Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment at Dicey Cemetery. Rusty Ellis and Tom O’Neal will officiate. Visitation Friday from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
