Barbara Ann Thomas

  Barbara Thomas, 72, of Weatherford, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, in a Dallas hospital. She was born August 19, 1941, in Parker County, Texas, to Wayne and Blanche Farrel. Barbara was the previous partner/owner of Weatherford Title Company. She was a member of Central Christian Church where she enjoyed volunteering her time and attending Christ Care. Barbara was known for her compassion and care for others and her ability to make people laugh. She enjoyed her aerobics class and spending time at the lake. 

  Survivors: husband of 54 years, Fred; daughter, Cindy Elders and husband, John; son, Jeff Thomas, all of Weatherford; grandchildren: Brooke, Jake, and Sarah; sister, Sandra Dickey of Dallas; and numerous family members and friends.

  Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Central Christian Church.
