Avalon Marie “Nig” Anderson, 81, of Weatherford, died Saturday, October 13, 2007, at her residence. Born September 12, 1926, in Fort Worth, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Avalon was in property management and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Anderson; grandson, Cory Anderson; husband of 25 years, Bill Davis; and her parents.
Nig is survived by her sons, Troy “Andy” Anderson and wife, Gloria of Weatherford and Greg Anderson and wife, Martha of Benbro; daughter in law, Tracie Anderson of Burleson; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2007, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Cris Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Rosehill Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
