Archie Cain

  Hortensia “Archie” DeLara Cain, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

  Archie was born December 25, 1942, in Baird, to Felipe and Ysabel DeLara. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Weatherford.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Juanita, Felipe Jr., Clemente, Victoria, Celia, Frank, Alejandro and Toni.

  Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Billy Cain; son, Tom Cain of Weatherford; daughters, Theresa Marie Williams and her husband, Kelvin of Weatherford, and Kim Walker of Millsap; grandchildren, Rowdy Cain, James Cain, Brittany Kerr and Molly, Jessica and Anna Walker; great-grandson, Cooper Ray Cain; sister, Minnie Godina and her husband, Ben of Colorado City, Texas; brother, Jimmy DeLara; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

  A special thank you to the nurses and caretakers at Baylor All Saints, Transplant floor and Hospice Unit.

  A graveside service will be held at 10 am Saturday, April 28, 2012 in East Greenwood Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012, at the funeral home.
