Anne Marie Lee

 Anne Lee continued her journey with God as she transitioned from this life into the next on Thursday, January 22, 2009. 

   A memorial service will be conducted at Central Christian Church, 1602 South Main Street, Weatherford, Texas, on Monday, January 26, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall after the service. Memorials may be made in Anne’s honor to a charity of your choice, Manna Storeroom, Post Office Box 9, Weatherford, Texas 76086, or to Central Christian Church.

   Anne was born January 14, 1932, in Gonzales, Texas, to Theodore and Marie Robinson. She and Joe Lee were married in 1953. Anne’s first priority was her family, giving much love and care to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her love of God was demonstrated in many ways through the love and care she gave others. Her many years of volunteer activity included driving cancer patients, serving on the Child Protective Service Board, volunteering at the hospital, and participating in many church activities.

   Anne was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one brother. 

  She is survived by her husband, Joe of Hudson Oaks; son, Mark Lee and wife, Stephanie of San Angelo, Texas; daughter, Elice Lee Woodard and husband, Steven of Brownwood, Texas; grandchildren, Terry Lishka II, his wife Crystie, daughters, Crystin and Kayla of Brownwood, Olivia Lee of San Angelo, and Audra Warren and husband, Jerami of San Angelo; one brother, Fred Robinson and one sister, Peggy Schmeltekopf; and a loving Church family.
