Anna Waghalter

  Anna Waghalter, 71, of Azle, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020. She was born October 13, 1948, in Tyler, Texas, to George and Mary Martin. As an excellent seamstress and quilter, Anna will be lovingly remembered as The Barefoot Quilter. She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, shopping, and collecting oil lamps and other items. She enjoyed spending time with her family. 

  Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Martin, DC.

  Anna is survived by her husband of 42 years, Sam Brown; daughter, Arlene Waghalter and partner, Chris Sabater; daughter, Kelly D Waghalter and partner, Shawn Jacks, their child, Callah Jacks; daughter, Melanie Johnson, her children, Catherine Waghalter and Zane Johnson and her grandchildren, Grace Crim, and Thomas Jannisse; step children, Brandy Maynard and Shane Brown; and sister, Linda Kiser and husband, Roger.

  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas.
