Anna Taylor

September 17, 1941 — January 15, 2015

Anna Lee Morton Taylor, a Godly wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed into eternity on January 15, 2015. She was born September 27, 1941 in Brownfield, TX to RC & Lee Morton.  She graduated from Wellman High School in 1960, and was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University in 1963.  She married Clinton Taylor in 1971.  Anna was a retired school teacher and hospital dietitian
Anna is survived by husband Clinton Taylor of Weatherford, TX; son Devin Duncan & wife Christy of Sioux Falls, SD; son Matthew Taylor & wife Susannah of Weatherford, TX; step son John Taylor & wife Jeanie of Ft Mead, FL; and step daughter Pam Branum & husband Greg of Houston, TX.  She also had 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Anna is also survived by her father RC Morton of San Angelo, TX; mother Lee Durant of Huntsville, AL; brother Duane Morton of Grand Junction, CO; sister Vicki Ward & husband Tim of Cool, CA; sister in law Nancy Morton of Huntsville, AL; step brother Ed Morton & wife Shawn of Big Lake, TX; step sister Marceene Morton of Big Lake, TX; step brother Robert Durant & wife Donna of Mesa, AZ.  She had several nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her first husband Duane Duncan; brother Col.  Curtis Morton; parents in law LC & Ida Belle Duncan; and step father Ross Durant.
Anna loved God, her family and her church, and was loved in return.  She believed in the power of prayer and was a great prayer warrior.

Memorial Service: 3pm Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Victory Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church Academy.
