Anna Ruth Fisher, 83, of Burleson, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1935, in Parker County, Texas, where she lived until she moved to Burleson in 1994. Anna’s first job was pulling orders on roller skates for Montgomery Wards on 7th Street in Fort Worth. She later worked for General Dynamics, now Lockheed Martin, for a few years but, she was best known as a devoted homemaker. Anna enjoyed gardening, water skiing on the lake, crocheting, cooking and keeping her grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Annie Alford Charroux; husband, Howard Fisher; grandson, Clint Fisher; and her siblings, Pearl Kammer, Belle Hall, Clyde Charroux, Clifford Charroux, and Annette Cordell.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Gibson and husband, Ronnie, and David Fisher and wife, Ranae; three grandchildren, Gary Shane Parker, Michelle Snell, and Cody Fisher, and six great grandchildren.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2019 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery.
