Anna Lee Sportsman, 72, passed away at her home in Weatherford after a lengthy fight with cancer. The daughter of Homer Douglas and Hazel King, she is survived by her husband, Carol G. Sportsman; daughters, Anita Gene Hankins of Knoxville, Tennessee and Cheri Diane Johnson of Blue Springs, Missouri; sister, Juanita Snyder of Missouri; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside service: Monday, August 14, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
