Amy S. Pender

  Amy S. Pender, age 68, passed from this life peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

  Amy was born September 20, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Gerald and Mary (Quayle) Hunt. A lifelong Texan, Amy was a proud graduate of Keller High School, Class of 1976. She later built a career with Ram Windows & Doors, where she worked as a window designer, bringing creativity and care to her work.

  Amy was a woman who cherished her family and the life they shared together. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. For 26 years, she shared her life with her beloved husband, Tyra, building a family and a lifetime of memories together. Her greatest legacy will live on through the generations of family who loved her and will carry her memory forward.

  Amy was also a woman of faith and was a member of Springtown Methodist Church. Her faith and the love she gave to her family will remain a lasting part of the lives she touched.

  Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Mary Hunt.

  She leaves behind a beautiful family and a legacy of love: her beloved husband of 26 years, Tyra Pender of Springtown, Texas; her children, Yvonne Adams and husband Tim, Amanda Clark and husband Monty, Jennifer Hale and husband Joe, Jarrod Cross and wife Ambra, Brooke Cross and husband Phillip Massey, and Ashton Barker; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Neal Hunt and wife Claire; and her sister, Susan Lance and husband Cory.

  Amy will be remembered in the stories told, the memories treasured, and the lives of the many people who were blessed to know her.

  A memorial service celebrating Amy’s life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Springtown, located at 109 West 3rd Street, Springtown, Texas 76082. The date and time will be announced.
