Alvin Wayne Long

  Alvin Wayne Long, age 62, of Weatherford, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Alvin was born on May 14, 1957, in Weatherford, Texas, to Noel and Bonnie Long. He worked as a painter for Textron, formally known as Bell Helicopter, until 2018. He was a devoted member of the North Main Church of God. He loved restoring old cars and spending time with his two dogs and two cats. 

  Alvin is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sharon “Renee” Long; brother, Don Long and wife, Ann; nieces, Lisa Cravens and Joy Bradford; nephews, Phillip Long, Dan and wife, Kristi Long, and Elijah and wife, Misty Long; great nieces, Forrest, Kacee, Montana, Emery, Haliegh, Shaliegh, and Savannah; and great nephews, Tommy and Steven. 

  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at the North Main Church of God.
