Althea Faye Burkhalter

  Althea Faye Burkhalter, 94, of Fort Worth, died Monday evening, September 8, 2008, in a Fort Worth nursing facility. She was born February 20, 1914, to Melvin and Cornelia Pritchard, in Whitt, Texas, a resident of Parker County for many years. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Peaster High School. 

  Althea was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, T. J. Echols, Paul Echols, and Wiley Burkhalter; daughters, Joyestell Echols, Avonell Marvin; son, Paul Donald Echols; six brothers and three sisters. 

  Survivors:  daughter, Judy Ann Henderson of Watauga; six grandchildren, Steve Hill, Stan Hill, Dean Hill, Tim Henderson, Tonya McEndree, and Tiffany Comstock; 18 great grandchildren; and sisters, Edna Pearl Williams of Weatherford and Evelyn Hobbs of Weatherford.

  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2008, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, with interment in Dilbeck Cemetery.
