Alma Loraine Wallace

  Alma Loraine Cox Wallace, 92, of Poolville, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011.  Alma was born October 24, 1918, in Hereford, Texas, to Rosa Alice Biggs and Edgar Mortimer Cox.
 
  Mrs. Wallace was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell where she worked thirty-six years before retiring in 1983. She was a resident of Hereford until she moved to Millbrae California to be nearer family and to enjoy the good weather there. Three years ago she joined her son and his family in Poolville. They shared many memories sitting on the deck watching the sunset and wild animals and playing with the dogs, cats and puppies.
 
  Survivors include her son, Jan Wallace, of Poolville; and a sister, Lavada Barnett, of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandsons, Drew and Eric; and three great grandsons, in California and Arizona.
