Allie Young O'Day

  Allie Young O’Day, 86, of Weatherford, died Monday, May 14, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. O’Day was born on September 15, 1920, in Weatherford, to Richard T. Young and Hattie Hallmark Young. She was a 1939 graduate of Weatherford High School. Allie was a retired LVN working first at Campbell Memorial Hospital then later at Peach Tree Place. She was a life long member of Couts Memorial United Methodist Church. 

  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack C. Wilson and Dan O’Day; parents; brothers, Lee Young and Clyde Young; sisters, Willie Seymour and Geneva (Dot) Havins; son-in-law, Howard Petty; and great granddaughter, Zoe Michelle Petty. 

  Survivors: daughters; Janice Petty and Marilyn Huffman, and a son; sister; Susie Sutton; five grandchildren, Misti Petty, Shannon Petty, Amy Wilson, Brad Wilson, and Brandon Wilson; one great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Funeral service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2007, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
