Alice “June” Wetzel, age 85, of Benbrook, passed away on November 9, 2020. June was born in Sunbury, Ohio on July 11, 1935, to Ralph and Melinda Uhrig. She was a General Clerk for the United States Air Force before getting married and starting a family. She was an artist and loved to paint and draw and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
June is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Miner and husband, Terry of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin; son, Christopher Wetzel of Fort Worth; daughter in law, Bonnie Wetzel of Burleson; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Robert Wetzel.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Annetta Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard is in charge of arrangements.
