Alfred Joe Mathis, 66, of Alvarado, passed away Thursday, April 09, 2009. Alfred was a retired custodian of the Mansfield School District. He participated in the Cowbell Rodeo in Mansfield and loved his critters.
Survivors include two brothers, Homer A. Mathis and wife, Bonita of Weatherford and Robert Lee Mathis and wife, Judy of Norman, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will conduct and ceremony near Alfred’s birthplace in Searcy County Arkansas.
