Alfred Franklin

  Alfred Franklin, age 84, passed from this life Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his residence. Alfred was born May 31, 1931, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Clifford and Annie Raifsnider Franklin. He was a retired Plant Maintenance Supervisor with Bell/Textron Corporation, and was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church.  

  Alfred is survived by his wife, Peggy of Weatherford; son, Cliff Franklin and wife, Edith of Lubbock, Texas; step-sons, Eddie Allen and wife, Janice, Joel Allen, and Steve Allen; grandchildren, Amy Welch, Michael Stevenson, Daniel Franklin, Beth Ledbetter, Tim Arocha, and Mark Franklin; 16 great grandchildren and one great great, grandchild, numerous other relatives and friends. 

  Predeceased by wife, Pencie Franklin, married 54 years; daughter, Cynthia Stevenson; and sister, Margaret Nell Ames.

  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13, 2016, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with the Funeral Ceremony 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
