Alexandra (Babienko) Vinokurov

  Alexandra (Babienko) Vinokurov, age 80, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas. She was born on April 16, 1944, in Kyiv, Ukraine, to Artem Babienko and Evgenia Serakovskaya.

  Alexandra married the love of her life, Boris in 1965, and they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Alexandra earned her bachelor's degree and built a career as an electrical engineer. In 1978, the family immigrated to the United States.

  A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Alexandra was a faithful caretaker of those she loved. She led by example, instilling traditional values. She cherished time with her family, often taking her grandchildren on outings to museums, botanical gardens, and day trips filled with joy and learning.

  Alexandra is survived by her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

  A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Interment will take place at a later date at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90038.
