Alan Lee “Skip” Allen, age 65, of Weatherford, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at his residence. Skip was born July 17, 1947 in Paris, Texas. He was a salesman in oil and gas production, a knife maker and a musician. He played in numerous bands and was a member of Spring and Case Church of Christ.
Survivors: wife; Tania Allen of Weatherford; daughter, Kimberly Cummings of Richardson; sons, Jade Allen of Flower Mound, Andrew Allen of Weatherford; sister, Rita Prince of Granbury; brother, Kato Allen of Justin; grandchildren, Collin Cummings, Kade Cummings, Savannah Cummings, Naomi Cummings, Morgan Allen and Jaidyn Allen.
He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Allen.
Funeral service 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m., prior to service.
