William “Pat” Neimeyer, 46, of Weatherford, Texas went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, early Wednesday morning, March 31 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer.  He is preceded in death by his brother Kerry Neimeyer, father Herb Neimeyer, mother Neta Watson, and niece Charlee Cobb.

He is survived by loving wife Lynette and stepson Tyler and devoted sister and brother-in-law Kavin and Downy Vickery of Katy, Texas as well as niece Shannon Parker of Houston, Texas.  He is also survived by nephew and niece Joshua and Jennifer Neimeyer and their children, Cheyenne and Dakota of Fort Worth, Texas.  Other remaining family include stepmother Pamela Neimeyer and step-sisters Tanga Smith and Tammy Melton of Burneyville, Oklahoma as well as half-sisters, Joyce Hutzler of San Antonio and Kathy Cowey of Seguin, Texas and numerous uncles, aunts, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Pat had a loyal and patriotic servant’s heart.  In addition to his degree in law enforcement, he was a certified emergency medical technician as well as a volunteer firefighter.  Pat served our country faithfully through his enlistment in the Texas National Guard for six years following his graduation from Weatherford High School in 1982.

Pat will be sorely missed by all but we celebrate with joy his presence with our God.

Services will be 2 PM, Saturday, April 3, 2010, in Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in East Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6 -8 PM, Friday, April 2, 2010 at the funeral home.
