William Eugene Brundridge

William Eugene Brundridge passed away suddenly at home Friday August 29, 2014.  Born May 2, 1952 in Chelsea MA to Harry and Wilma Brundridge; Bill was in the middle of three children.  Bill was a good man, warm and fun loving.  As the son of a military man, he grew up all over the world.  Bill served in the U.S. Army for four years.  He met Carolyn “Carrie” Bohannon on a blind date set up by friends.  They would have celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary this September.  Together they lived in Phoenix, AZ; Florida; even spending over a 1 year and a half traveling across the country.  Bill loved the outdoors and operated his own lawn service.  A chance to move to a piece of family property in Texas brought them to Hudson Oaks.  Described as the best dad ever, Bill had a good heart.  He enjoyed photography, making people laugh even at his own expense; he was ever an optimist.
Bill leaves behind his wife Carrie Brundridge; daughters Lisa Nicole Brundridge (Michael Schmidt), Tina Mericle, Jodi Lindsey; sister Carol Perry (Steve); brother Harry Brundridge (Grace); grandchildren Taryn Elliott, Trila Elliott, Chasin Elliott, Heather Lindsey, Brenna Lindsey, Riley Sitzmore; nephews David Perry and Ivan Brundridge (Liz).  Bill was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Wilma Brundridge.
 

A memorial service will be held at Holland Lake Park, Wednesday September 3, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in Weatherford.
