William Alexander Long

William Alexander Long, 80, of Weatherford died Thursday, October 30, 2008in a Weatherford nursing facility. Born October 7, 1928 in Holden, Missouri, he was a resident of Parker County for many years. William was a union iron worker and in the National Guard.   He is survived by his wife, Billye Long of Weatherford; daughters, Nancy Hinsch and husband Jerry of Escondido, CA, Sharon Masten and husband Bob of Krum, Susan Richroath of Sanger; step daughter, Vicki Woods and husband Richard of Grand Prairie; son, Larry Long of Sanger; step sons, Ray Gameson of N. Richland Hills and Randy Gameson of Lakeville, MN; sister, Mary Louise Cooney and husband Bob; brothers, Tom Long and Jean of Kearney, MO and J.C. Long and wife Judy of Kansas City, MO; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. 

Graveside service: 3:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2008 in East Greenwood Cemetery.
