Wesley Franklin Herndon

Wesley “Wes” Franklin Herndon, 27, of Weatherford passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2020, at his home.

A Graveside Committal service will be held at 2 P.M., on Friday, September 4, 2020, at East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. There will be a lunch at 11:30 AM for family and friends at Friendship Baptist Church, 801 Friendship Road, Weatherford, Texas 76085.

Wes was born on November 7, 1992, in Fort Worth Texas to David Lee and Angela Jean Herndon. He was a 2011 graduate of Weatherford High School where he played tuba in the marching band. He went on to receive his associate degree from Weatherford College. He enjoyed reading, playing games, and outdoor activities. Most of all, Wes cherished time spent with his family and being with his friends.

Wes is survived by his parents, David Lee and Angela Jean Herndon; his siblings, David Tyler (Kaitlyn) Herndon and Victoria Herndon; and by his maternal grandparents, Don and Melody Cox of Weatherford.

Wes was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bobby and Betty Herndon from Graham, Texas.
