Wayne Rothburn Hill

Wayne Rothburn Hill, 69, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis.  He was born November 25, 1943 in Beckley, West Virginia.  He was the beloved son of Willie Marie Hill and the late Nelson Rothburn Hill of Salem, VA.  Wayne is preceded in death by first wife, Nancy Louise Hill, and he leaves behind a daughter, Lisa Hill Newman, and husband, Charles Newman, of Roanoke, VA.  He is survived by wife, Norma Hill, and children, Kathryn Ruth of Dallas and Michael Ruth of Atlanta;  sister, Anita Wright, and husband, Christopher of Boones Mill, VA; brother, Nelson Randall Hill, and wife, Helen of Alpharetta, Georgia.  

A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Salem, Virginia.
