Wayne Lee Tabor

Wayne Lee Tabor, 67, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2021, after a short battle with cancer.

Wayne was born in Waco, Texas on November 29th, 1953 to Ernest and Fannie Tabor. Wayne brought laughter and light to the lives of everyone he came in contact with. His joy truly came from the love he had for his grandchildren. Wayne will be missed but not forgotten. The family has asked to keep his loving legacy alive. 

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Fannie Tabor, daughter Katie Mendez, brother Bill Tabor, sisters Shirley Tabor and Lois Gilbert.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Tabor; children, Christine Roberts, Wayne Tabor, Daniel Mendez, Katelan Watson, and Joseph Watson; grandchildren, Billie Hall, Destiney Mendez, TJ Tabor, Katie Tabor, Bobbie Kay Roberts, Michael Roberts, Devin Tabor, Reagan Dick, and Emma Watson; sisters and brother, Maxine, Roxy, Kathy, Debbie, Jerri and Rick. Wayne is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, and his best friend Tommy Mays.

Visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel on August 21, 2021 at 10 am- 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wayne’s favorite charity, St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
