Wanda Louise Snow

December 20, 1932 — January 14, 2015

Wanda Louise Guess Snow, of Millsap,  passed peacefully from this life on January 14, 2015.
Wanda first showed her indomitable will when, as an infant, she survived pneumonia by being placed in open window in the dead of winter.  This trait served her well in life and defined her approach to life.  Losing her father at an early age with an aging mother and a farm to run, she put that will into motion and developed her tireless work ethic.  Wanda was most happy at home, whether it was making her delicious pies or working in the garden.  This made for the happiest of homes, where all congregated in the kitchen to chat.  Wanda was an accomplished seamstress and homemaker.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, community worker and devoted Christian.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Elizabeth Guess, sisters Orena Guess;  Lorene Guess Green, brothers Millard Guess, Odell Guess and Curtis Guess and sister-in-law Jean Guess.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, J. Frank Snow, Sr., daughter Donna Snow Cameron and husband Mike, son J. Frank Snow, Jr. and wife Christie Tahsuda Snow, grandchildren Ryan and Shane Cameron, Courtney Snow Bailey and husband Steven, and Allison Snow, sisters-in-law Helen Guess and Dot Guess.

Visitation: Friday, Jan 16th from 6 – 8 pm at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral.  Funeral: Saturday, January 17th at 10:00 am.  Burial: Hill Cemetery in rural Parker County.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hill Cemetery Association, c/o 1st National Bank, Weatherford, TX.
