Wanda Laverne Dyer

Wanda Laverne Dyer, 84, of Weatherford passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was born September 13, 1936 in Jal, New Mexico to Earl J. and Ora Lee Rodgers Jones. Wanda married Paul D. Dyer on January 15, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico and together they raised three children. Early in her career she worked for a pathologist, a credit union and later was the office manager for Dyer Office Concepts. She was a faithful member of South Main Church of Christ where she was active in several church activities. Wanda enjoyed traveling with Paul and collecting dolls. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Doyle Dean Moore and her brothers, A.J. and Douglas Jones.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Paul Dyer; children, Linda Carolyn Dyer, Jackie Dean Dyer and wife Cheryl Lynn, Ronald Jay Dyer and wife Mary Teresa; sister, Norma Jean King; grandchildren, Alexander Jay Dyer Marvin Earl Dyer and wife Marci and Crystal MayLynn Abbott and husband Joshua; seven great grandchildren.

Memorial Service 10:00 am, Thursday, August 5, 2021 at South Main Church of Christ with Michael Lum officiating.
