Vicki Jane Wallis

  Vicki Jane Wallis, 66, of Aledo, passed away early on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at her home.

  Visitation will be held Monday evening, July 30, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 4941E I-20 Frontage Road in Willow Park. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Tuesday, July 31, at 10:00 a.m., at the Parker County Cowboy Church, 5050 FM-5, in Aledo. Burial will follow at Annetta Cemetery.

  Vicki was born September 26, 1951, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Carlton and Wilma Ware. She was a massage therapist by profession. In her earlier years, Vicki did modeling, was an early airline stewardess for Southwest Airlines, and will be remembered as being a “Cowgirl.” A devout Christian, Vicki led many people to the Lord. She will affectionately be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and sister.

  Vicki is survived by her husband, Mason; her children, Glen Sonnier, Thomas Sonnier, Layla Wallis, and Justin Wallis; her mother, Wilma Ware; her siblings, Logan (Cindy) Ware, Timmy Ware, Mark (Kim) Ware, and Melody Ware; and by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

  Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Carlton Ware; her daughter, Jamie Renee Penisten in 1985; and by her sister, Cynthia Janelle Ware.
