Vernon Stogsdill

Vernon Stogsdill, age 86, of Aledo, died Wednesday morning, August 27, 2008 in a Weatherford nursing facility.  Born March 2, 1922 in Orchardville, Illinois,a resident of Parker County for several years.  He was a retired Pharmaceutical Medical Sales Representative, a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of the Hilltop Family Church in Springtown.. He was preceded in death by his wife,Creta, parents, Cecil and Daisy Stogsdill and a brother, Evert Stogsdill.

Daughter – Debbie Smith and husband, Scott
Sons – Dennis Stogsdill and wife, Karen Alan Stogsdill  and wife, Paula Stephen Stogsdill and wife, Larissa Jeff Stogsdill and wife, Tina

Sisters – Ruth Kassis Ruby Carpenter

Brothers – Harold Stogsdill Ed Stogsdill Ben Stogsdill

Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 2-4 PM, Sunday,August 31, 2008 at the funeral home.
